SUKANYA is our ongoing project. Last 6 years we are doing this in different schools in PCMC area. We check hemoglobin of the girls and if the find anemic we provide them iron tablets for three months. after medication we recheck them. It has proved that the HB count increases. Till last year we covered 30000 girls from different schools and colleges. we covered more than 40 schools in this area. 652 Girls were tested at Kanyashala Pimpri and of which around 240 Girls have been found to be with lower HB Count. These Girls will be provided with tablets and guidance on food habits. Medical Director PP Rtn Jas Sokhi and Ann Rajender Sokhi lead the project.
